GRE Vocab Genius Audios and Pictures App Reviews

I wish this app had been optimized for the wider screen and the latest iOS so that theres no annoying black space on the top and bottom... But I like the way it helps with vocabulary learning.

Best way for all types of leaners to actually learn, memorize, understand and be completely familiar with the challenging vocabulary on the new GRE.

I bought the SAT and GRE versions of this application so that I can construct shorter and more precise sentences at work. I am a technical liaison between software engineers and non technical personnel. Having an extensive vocabulary helps to cut very complex multi-paragraph communications down into short concise sentences. I have been using other iPhone vocabulary apps that I like but the video and audio combination method implemented here seems to be very effective so far. I permanently committed the first 40 words to memory in one day. We have a winner here. The only thing I hope is added in the future is: A) The option to have audio continue with the screen off. B) Some sort of statistics that shows progress somehow based on word difficulty ratings. All and all fantastic.

Love this app the visual stimulus helps for those who learn better by seeing... I can remember words just simply off the wonderful animations... Thanks guys keep upgrading and adding new features

This app helped me to memorize GRE words in no time. I am a mother of three and it is really hard to get some time to understand and memorize strange vocabs. Using this app helped me to study at times impossible to study at previously. For example, early mornings when preparing breakfast for children and packing their lunches. I never had the ability to study such vocabulary with an ease. Please please please prepare more versions and include all possible GRE words. Thanks you for a brilliant idea.

Excellent way to learn. I listen while I run and throw the ball for my dog; even when I cook. What a time saver!

I like having the option to listen to the word definitions. I needed to do a lot of traveling lately and it was great having the audio to listen to. I do like how the words are put into several contexts and how the definition is repeated in the audio. I dont look at the images too often.

Not only This app helps me learn sth but also makes the process joyful. You learn each words with a picture, the meaning and lots of example.

The pictures and short stories help me comprehend the words and remember them a lot better than viewing the word (in a different app) with very little context. The cartoon illustrations are cute and humorous. I found I can play it with sound while I ride the elliptical machine so I work out my brain while I am working out my body. :-) One thing I would like to have and that I dont see on this app is the breakdown of the words roots and what they mean. That would help me remember them even better. Great app, though. :-)

I love the audio and the pictures of this App. The examples of the sentences are great too. Anyway I love this App because it is so helpful to learn new words.

I listen to it while driving (although this may not be the smartest idea), its nice that it turns pages automatically. When I go home, I look at the list of words I listened in the car. So far, so good.
